Helping Dad

Adam is working on clearing an area for our pole barn/studio. Jackson loves being out there helping him throw sticks in the pile. I suppose it won't be this easy to get him to help when he is 16 ;) We are hoping to have it built by the end of the summer (at the latest)...so wish us luck. We are very excited about this new venture in business on our own...officially.

Hanging with the Carlsons

Saturday evening we were able to spend some time with Sean, Kelli and Jonah Carlson. We squeezed in a quick one year photo session of Jonah (who did awesome) and then let the kids play. As you can see, they were making us dinner on the grill! Kris and Leanne were able to come over and join us. It was so good to hang out with you guys. We'll have to do it again soon. Thanks for the great company.

Welcome Tobin Gene!

Ryan and Rebekah Pokorzynski welcomed into the world their third child on March 14th. Tobin Gene was born around noon at Metro Hospital. He is so sweet and looks lot like his older brother, Gavin. Congrats on a beautiful new boy. We are so happy for you!

Our first spendy

Jackson got to have his first official spendy with his cousin Colton last weekend. He thought it was so neat that he got to spend the night at his house. They had so much fun, Jackson is going to be a great big brother some day. He loves having Colton around to play with.

Happy Birthday Casey!

Last weekend I made it down to Sterling Heights to celebrate Casey's 28th birthday with her. We headed up to JD's Key Club in Pontiac to enjoy some deueling pianos. What a riot! That place is always a good time. I was able to meet Casey's new man - Brian and hang out with Pam, a friend from college whom I haven't seen in forever. We had so much fun - thanks for the hospitality Case.

My girlfriend

Maddie came over to visit on Friday and Jackson couldn't get enough "hugs". They always have so much fun together. We had the Mickey Mouse song on repeat and they were so funny dancing around the living room. It is always good to hang out with the Hosfords...we love you guys. I love the middle pict....they were trying to compare belly buttons ;)

"Big Trampoline"

Since Adam had the day off from school, we decided to head to the "big trampoline" as Jackson likes to call it. He had a ball and was much more daring his second time there. Adam had him jumping into the foam pit and loving it. As you can see, Adam couldn't resist trying out his skills as well. The trampoline was much more springy than he remembered from his childhood days. We had so much fun, just the three of us!

We finally celebrated!!

A month late, we were finally able to celebrate Jackson's 2nd Birthday. After being postponed from all three of us having the flu a few weeks ago, we got the whole family together and had a great time. Jackson got to blow out his "two" candles on his Nemo cake, which he was very proud of. All of his cousins were there to celebrate with him. (B&W pict above) Jackson, Colton, Lauren and Brayden. He is finally getting a little more comfortable holding Brayden, he really adores having a newborn around. Thank you so much to all of you for being such a big part of his life - we really appreciate everything you do for him (and us).
