Dinner with the Lentine's

This past weekend, we got to spend the evening with my sister Katie, her husband Tim and their daughter, Lauren. Adam got back from skiing up north just in time to have dinner with us. The kids had a ball playing and singing. Katie and Tim have remodeled their home in Cedar Springs that they bought almost 2 years ago. It looks fabulous - good thing Tim's a handy man, and Katie takes direction well ;) Thanks again for dinner - we had a great time. And, congrats to Katie and Tim on their second child (a boy) due in May!

Happy Birthday Adam!

Yesterday we celebrated Adam's 26th birthday. He is still young ;) We went out to dinner at Rio Grande with our good friends Matt and Alice and their son Jack. Dinner was awesome and we had a great time. It's hard to believe that Adam and I have been together now to celebrate 10 years of birthdays with each other. I remember the day he turned 16 and finally got his drivers license!! Love you hun.

Happy 1st Birthday Colton!! Just one year ago today, you entered your parents lives and have been blessing them ever since. We are so happy to be a part of your life. You are a handsome little man and we love you.

Reunion

This past weekend we celebrated Joy Ducey's birthday at their home in Rockford. We were able to spend some time with close friends that we hadn't seen in a while. JR and Rhonda VanderWal, Jay and Vanessa Kuhlman, Chris and Amy Kuhlman, Ryan and Rebekah Pokorzynski, Kelli and Sean Carlson, myself and Adam and Joy and James Ducey. We had a great time - thanks for having us over. We'll have to make this happen more often. Happy Birthday Joy!!

Museum!

Jackson got to visit the VanAndel Museum for the first time on Sunday....and loved it. There is an animal exhibit that was pretty amazing. Being able to see all of the big animals was so fun for him. He loved the Horse and carriage (although it kept calling it a school bus).

Lock-In

A fun filled day at North Rockford Middle School where Dad was chaperoning a Lock-In for students from ERMS and NRMS. Madilyn and Jackson loved the inflatables and stayed on them until they got kicked off when it was time to leave. Mike Westgate and Dan Rotier showed the students how real men compete ;)

Baby Brayden

Sarah (Adam's younger sister) and her husband Russ gave birth to a healthy baby boy last week on Tuesday evening. Congrats to both of them and to the new Grandparents. Sarah is feeling good and happy to be home. Brayden Gerrit weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and was 21" long. His first night home was a long one for Sarah....Brayden had his days and nights mixed up a bit! It will get better Sarah - if he's a true Burkholder...he will love sleep :)
